This Big ladder on frame SUV was originally based out of Ford ranger pickup truck. Later modified, extensively tested and developed by Ford Australia.

The Ford Endeavour is the best 7 seat SUV in the segment, it was launched in the year 2016, full feature packed, no SUV or a car for that matter offered as many features in the year 2016. Even though there are minimalistic updates after 5 years in the Indian car market, the Endeavour never looks old from the outside. It looks like a big brutish American  SUV.

Pros:

• Cheapest in the segment to maintain.
• Handling and ride quality is the best in class.
• 10 speed gearbox is just superb.
• Super silent suspension along with noise cancellation.
• The Terrain management system and off road capabilities.

Cons:

• Third Row space is not for adults.
• In the Third row ride can get a bit bumpy at times.

Ford should have made small changes to the dash board layout and put in a larger floating screen for the infotainment system in the 2021 model and should have given us an extra engine option, like the 2.0L Bi Turbo Diesel engine present in the international market.

Verdict:

This SUV is 3 lakhs! Cheaper than the Toyota Fortuner 2021. Even after running it for 1,00,000 kms, the scheduled periodic maintenance will cost you Rs. 9000/-. Ford after sales service is just fantastic. 

This SUV should have out sold the Fortuner a long time ago. Ford sold 1024 units of Endeavour but Fortuner sold twice as much. 

People who doubt the reliability of Ford vehicle are missing out a lot.
